Its 3200 lumens of brightness can overcome ambient light in most in-home situations, and the XPR 4K UHD on-screen resolution and HDR compatibility provide highly detailed images from compatible sources. The projector features a 1.5 to 1.65:1 throw ratio to produce 100″ images from just 10.9′ away from your screen or wall.
The PX701-4K has two HDMI inputs for connecting digital high-definition sources such as Blu-ray players and HD cable/satellite boxes. An analog audio output lets you connect to your sound system, or you can use the onboard 10W speaker. The projector includes an IR remote control as an added convenience.

I bought this projector to replace a 1080p Viewsonic projector that I own. Will be using it in the Home theater room – dark and no light. This projector works really well in that space. I could test 4K videos using the Chromecast with Google TV and the video looks great. No stuttering or troubles displaying 4K.
The colours are reproduced well, and I’d say black levels are really good. I’ve tested HDR with the PS4 HDR capability and it looks great.
I am waiting to use this with a PS5 – alas I have still not been able to get my hands on one.

This projector has been outstanding. It projects a stunning 4k image which rivals projectors at 4 times the cost. The menu is very intuitive and easy to navigate. Outstanding black reproduction and OMG does this projector shine when you are using it in a a room with lots of ambient light. It cuts right through the daylight. I have enjoyed mine for the past year but sadly must part with it since i am moving and my new home will only accommodate an ultra short throw projector. My loss will be a good pre-owned deal for the next owner. I managed to get an outstanding 120 inch picture from this projector ceiling mounted and only 10 feet from the screen. If you’re considering the PX-701 4K just do it, you won’t regret it.
