Shore-based anglers can boost the quality and quantity of their catches by using the Fisherman FD3 Advanced Fishing Drone from SwellPro. With the FD3 Advanced, entry-level drone operators can cast bait far beyond the breaking waves. The drone has a 0.8-mile casting range and can transport up to 4.8 lb of bait. The robust design of the FD3 Advanced is saltwater-proof, resistant of winds up to 40 mph, and its built-in technology promotes smooth and stable operation. Fly via a FDFly app or use the included remote with built-in 5″ multicolor screen. With the Advanced version of the FD3, a 4K single-axis gimbal camera can be used to take photos, videos, and scout the best fishing spots.
Stable and Smooth Operation
With heavy bait and the precise requirements of casting, it’s important for the drone to operate efficiently. To this end, SwellPro equipped the FD3 Advanced with an S5 flight controller, high-voltage slide-in 6S battery, high-thrust brushless motors, and high-speed ESCs. The S5 gives the drone increased stability and altitude control and a higher tolerance for heat, interference, and vibration. The S5 also promises calibation-free flight, meaning the flight sensors are automatically calibrated which can reduce the pendulum effect while carrying bait.
GPS 9.0
This drone features improved performance with SwellPro’s GPS 9.0 technology which accesses GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou satellite systems, letting the FD3 Advanced quickly acquire up to 30 satellites for more precise navigation and stable hovering.
Catch More Fish
This drone supports over 10 hooks, baits, and lures on one fishing line, letting you deploy them at different depths. This helps to increase your chances of catching different species and multiple fish at one time.
Auto-Drop & Return
In the case of a lost signal or low battery, the FD3 will automatically drop the bait and safely return home.
Self-Floating with Automatic Flip
With a buoyant design, the Fisherman FD3 Advanced can easily float if it lands in water. If it flips upside down while in water, the automatic flip function can be used with the controller’s joysticks to put it back in an upright orientation, ready for takeoff from the water.
Remote Controller
You can fly the Fisherman FD3 Advanced like a video game with the included remote controller. It features twin joysticks and a built-in 5″ multicolor display. This display gives you a video feed directly from the drone, on-screen telemetry, and voice alerts. Like the drone, the remote is made to withstand the elements with a splash-proof and sand-proof design.
FDFly App
Without the remote, you can still fly the drone using your mobile phone and the FDFly app. This app has one-touch automatic takeoff, automatic flight to saved locations and bait drop, and you can save GPS coordinates of your favorite fishing spots to memory.
