Add height effect channels to your compatible home theater system with this pair of premium black ash SVS Prime Elevation 2-Way Atmos Add-On Speakers. The feature an angled front baffle, so they can be placed on the wall near the ceiling with the included wall mount for height effects without the required sound reflection of up-firing speakers. They use a 1″ aluminum dome tweeter and a 4.5″ polypropylene cone woofer and accept 20 to 150W of power from your amplifier.
Alternative placement options are available, such as low-angle up-firing or side-firing speakers, left-/center-/right-channel configurations with a third Prime Elevation speaker, or left/right setups.
- Down-firing height-effects speaker – placed high on a side wall, the directly radiated sound is designed to provide more direct sound than “ceiling bounce” solutions.
- Up- or down-firing front, L/C/R (left/center/right) and/or center channel speaker – placed above or below the viewing area, directed at the listener, when placement at ear level isn’t possible.
- Side- or rear-firing surround speaker – placed on a side wall for rear effects, or on the rear wall for side effects, when optimal placement is not possible.
- Aluminum shorting ring in mid-woofer helps reduce gap inductance, lower distortion, and enhance high frequency response
- Cast ABS-fiberglass composite basket in mid-woofer helps ensure precision component alignment and augmented thermal transfer
- Vented voice coil former minimizes air compression artifacts in mid-woofer
