Enjoy 4K multimedia playback and near-4K upscaling of older PAL, NTSC, and SECAM discs on your compatible display with the Sony UBP-X800E HDR 4K UHD Network Multi-Region Blu-ray Player. It supports high-resolution audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD plus the object-based audio formats Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. The UBP-X800E features two HDMI outputs and a digital coaxial output for versatile connectivity options.
This Blu-ray player has Wi-Fi and an Ethernet port built-in to allow you to stream multimedia content from your home network. The front USB port also provides for the playback of your digitally stored media. You can connect a pair of Bluetooth headphones for private listening, or Bluetooth speakers to move your audio out of the main listening area.

This multi-region player does not convert NTSC/PAL video systems. If you’re connecting this to your display via analog cables, your display must either be multi-system or match the system your disc is encoded in. Please refer to the owner’s manual for further details. Content acquired via certain apps may require subscription to a service. Not all services are available in all areas.

4K High Dynamic Range
Combined with the clarity of 4K, HDR allows for a greater range of color contrast and brightness, enhancing details from the original film format. HDR signals contain up to 100x the brightness of a standard (SDR) signal, increasing peak brightness while retaining deep and detailed blacks.
BT.2020 Color Space
Support for the BT.2020 color space means access to a wider range of colors than conventional TV signals offer. This means content creators can deliver more saturated and realistic color, from deep aquatic blues to natural greens and vibrant reds.
Dolby Atmos
Dolby Atmos treats sounds as separate objects, outputting appropriate sound effects through ceiling-reflective speakers for a more immersive sound.
DTS:X
DTS:X can create a near-unlimited number of audio objects, which adapt to your speakers in real time for enhanced sound object placement.
