Works as advertised: plays all regions of DVDs, blurays and 4k blurays with minimal fuss. Haven’t tried blu-ray region C though. I don’t use the internet features but has familiar Roku interface. Also plays a variety of media via usb port. This cd replace all your other disk-based media and accommodates more. Hope it lasts but seems to have typical SONY high build quality. I also own the similar SONY multi-region blu-ray player, and it has held up well under regular use.

After some disappointments with older players, Samsung and Sony, THIS unit is the best one I have ever come across. It plays any discs – Blu Ray or DVDs – from anywhere in the world, as well as thumb drives. The machine sets up easily from very clear printed instructions as well as from easily followed on-screen menus, then it controls my Denon AV to switch over from Cable/Sat to BD, flawlessly, either upon hitting play on the remote or on the unit. So far, no negatives to report.
