Pro-Ject Audio Systems Phono Box S2

Add analog phono inputs to any “digital-only” device with the Pro-Ject Audio Systems Optical Box E Phono, a phono preamplifier with an integrated analog-to-digital converter and line inputs and outputs. With its simultaneous digital-optical output and standard analog outputs, the Optical Box E Phono can be used as a 1-to-2 signal splitter, an input expander, and a DAC for phono and line sources.

The A/D conversion provides the highest precision with 24-bit / 96 kHz resolution. You can also use it with an ordinary MM phono preamp with line output that integrates in any HiFi system. The rear panel features a stereo RCA phono input with ground lug, a 3.5mm line input, a 3.5mm line output, and a digital optical output. The Optical Box E Phono includes an 18 VDC power supply.
