4K HDR
Dual HDMI 2.0 ports let you hook up a variety of devices, such as a Blu-ray player, gaming console, or streaming device. You can use these devices with the UHD35x to produce stunning 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution images. When playing content that supports HDR technology, these 4K visuals are enhanced with rich contrast and deep blacks, providing you with increased depth and realism.
Gaming Mode
Video games, especially high-end titles, require different specifications for an optimal experience. This is why Optoma provides a gaming mode to enhance the graphics of your games with maximum contrast and vivid color. Gaming mode brings an ultra-low 4.2 ms response time at 1080p and 240 Hz refresh rate.
Backlit Remote
The included remote control features a subtle white LED backlight under all the buttons, making it easy to control the projector in the dark.
Wall Color Adjustment
If you’re projecting to a wall that’s not pure white, you can use the wall color adjustment feature to select one of 6 tinted options to best match your wall color: Blackboard, Light Yellow, Light Green, Light Blue, Pink, and Gray.

I was so Impressed after setting up the projector from old HD39 Barbee to this new UHD35 4K Projector that the color’s and depth of 4K video stunned my eyes. Very pleasing even my friends were stunned by the video’s I played.

I have been using a ViewSonic projector that had a resolution of 800, basically 720 P. I bought this projector to be able to play games on, watch movies, etc.

It was so easy to install with my universal mount. And it is much quieter than my other projector. It’s also 800 lm brighter with a total of 3600 lm. Even on eco-mode it is very bright.

I can’t believe how crisp this thing is, I have it on 110-inch screen and it looks fantastic. For the price point I don’t think you can beat this projector.

Got this to replace my roughly 15 year old projector. I wanted to upgrade to 4k and was hoping to get something decent for video games. So far, I’m extremely pleased. It’s a huge step up for me from last projector with twice the lumens and a much higher contrast ratio. Been playing games in 4k at 60fps, running on a 50-foot hdmi cable, and if there’s any latency my eyes aren’t good enough to perceive it.

This is my second projector, my first one was also an Optima, 1080p model. This one’s definitely an upgrade over the 1080p model, the screen door effect is invisible unless you are 3 ft or less away. It’s also very quiet, in the Eco mode I can’t hear it and I’m pretty much below it. The only thing I can think of that may be a drawback is there is a slight glow around some letters on dark backgrounds. It’s not noticeable unless you are too close, and I’m not even sure if it’s the projector or the screen.

No rainbow. Big throw. Bigger distance from the screen vs unit it replaced. Last was 1080 3d and after 5 years the bulb exploded. Bought this a replacement after the bulb replacement failed after a month. Just get a new projector the time and energy to change them and re do was wasted as soon as the next one blew. You’re taking it down put up a new 4K instead – SO CLEAR. And quieter.

  6. James

This Optoma UHD35x projector is fantastic. The image is great, terrific features, much quieter than I anticipated and replaced my 16yr old 480p Infocus SP4805 with 4k. Simply incredible. Amazing buying experience it was shipped out immediately and arrived perfectly fine a day later. Much appreciated for the prompt service!
