From discreet aesthetics to nuanced and balanced audio production, the Dymension CI DW-65 MAX 6.5″ In-Wall Speaker from Definitive Technology is an elegant solution for creating an expansive home audio or home theater sound system, indoors or outside your home. The rectangular speaker features a 1″ aluminum oxide dome tweeter that can pivot to direct audio where needed, and a 6.5″ BDSS (Balanced Double Surround System) woofer. Together they are crafted to emit distortion-free highs, robust and punchy lows, with an even and crisp midrange. A linear response waveguide keeps the midrange sound natural and open with both on-axis and off-axis frequency dispersion.
Easy Toolless Installation
The two-part design makes installation easy, quick, and something that can be done without tools. The integrated frame and baffle rest flush and border-free within a wall, taking advantage of a paintable micro-perforated magnetic grille to let the DW-65 MAX virtually disappear from view.
Indoor or Outdoor
High-quality surround sound reproduction does not have to be relegated to an indoor cinema room. With IP55-rated protection from water and dust, the DW-65 MAX can also be utilized outdoors on a deck or patio.
Tweeter Adjustment
Use the 3-position tweeter attenuation switch on the DW-65 MAX to adjust the high-end response to mitigate a room’s acoustic dynamics, with -2 dB, flat, and +2 dB settings.
Timbre Matched
A complimentary home theater speaker system can easily be created with this Dymension CI DW-65 MAX speaker and other components from Definitive Technology. This surround speaker is timbre-matched to Dymension, Dymension CI, and Mythos speakers as well as Descent series subwoofers.
