With a smaller body size compared to dreadnought, the Cort Luce L60 Orchestra features a bright and detailed tonality, along with an easy playability that’s ideal for strummers and fingerpickers alike. The guitar is constructed with a mahogany back, sides, and a spruce top. The dovetail neck joint enhances the guitar’s tone, and advanced X-bracing makes for a stronger, more durable body. The included coated strings resist corrosion and create a better tone over the life of the strings. Finally, an abalone rosette, white purfling, and black body binding give the Luce L60 a classic look reminiscent of vintage guitars that belies its modern construction.
Spruce Top
A real solid spruce top gives the L60 a bright and detailed tonality, while the Advanced X-bracing pattern maximizes volume, projection and response.
Orchestra Body
The Concert body size is smaller and produces a more focused and balanced sound than the Dreadnought, with less emphasis on the bass, and a strong midrange with clearer and sweeter highs. This sonic balance of the Concert body makes it ideal for fingerpicking and solo single-note playing.
Neck Joint
The dovetail neck joint provides an optimal connection between neck and body for better vibrational transfer and more articulate response.
