    You’ll have 30 fingerprint IDs to store if you need them. My suggestion is to set your own finger in 4-5 positions that would represent the most likely positions of your print so that you don’t have to get it perfect every time.

    Seems to be reliable reading fingerprints, opens fast enough. The first step after buying this is taking out the junk mat that is included and using it as a template to purchase something reasonable. It’s a thin piece of felt that won’t stay in place, and, in my case, doesn’t even lay flat. I think it should come with a rubberized one with a tiny bit of weight to it to keep it tacked to the floor of the safe

    The safe is solid and easy to program and operate. The instructions, however, fail to deal with two issues. First, the safe was locked when it arrived. I had to use the key to open it. Second, the button on the inside that you push to set a new set of fingerprints had a plastic cover that had to be screwed off. The button and cover are very difficult to see, being inside the safe, and the instructions make no mention of having to unscrew the cover. But once that was done it was easy to open. The safe is fairly large and can easily hold two pistols.
