I was replacing an old Kyocera receiver from 1985. I wanted a Modem connected Receiver(not Bluetooth) for the better quality. I hooked it up to my old Dynaco(1970) and Kliptsch(1985) speakers, Tanburg cassette player and Denon CD player with B & O turntable. Everything worked great. I could get good FM reception without a rooftop antenna. The absolute best thing about it is the direct connection to the internet (no Wi-Fi) via cable modem. I connected to Chromecast through my phone to select Pandora and listen to my favorite music channels. I turn it on by remote and listen all day. I find the quality of this receiver to be much better than the older and more expensive ones I have. It controls are extensive for varied music sources.
