Get deep lows and acoustic tone with the Tanglewood Winterleaf, an acoustic/electric bass with a folk cutaway body. The instrument offers a balanced sound, with its bright spruce top and warm mahogany back and sides. Its 34″ scale neck is fashioned out of mahogany and is outfitted with a blackwood fingerboard. A blackwood bridge helps keep strings affixed to the body.
A built-in preamp offers volume, bass, midrange, and treble controls, as well as other knobs to shape the sound. A presence control lets you add more cut onstage. To top it all off, a built-in tuner means you don’t need to buy a separate one.
