Have not had a turntable for 20+ years and was missing the sound of my LPs. We don’t have the space for a standard flat turntable. I found a # of good reviews for the VT-E. Pro-Ject is a well known German manufacturer of high end audio equipment.
The turntable I was initially sent did not work properly (tone arm would not stay on record). After several calls it was determined that I should send it back & get another.
The second turntable works fine.
Pros: It’s great to hear the sound of vinyl records again! I’m not an audiophile, but to my ears the VT-E does a great job – sound is warm, detailed, low end is tight & punchy, highs transparent. I go directly from the line out to my receiver. Set up is easy. Tonearm tracking is factory pre-set, no adjustment needed.
Cons: It takes a while to learn where to position the tone arm to get it to start at the beginning of the record and it’s easy to knock the turntable belt off when putting records on or off. (But easy to put back on.)
I have not used the Bluetooth function.
I have not used the Phono out.
