Streaming Services
Within the TX-8470 are a wide range of technologies that support robust music streaming in your home. Access the internet over Wi-Fi or an Ethernet connection, utilize Chromecast built-in, take advantage of Apple AirPlay 2, or stream over Bluetooth. The TX-8470 is compatible with a wide range of popular online services, such as Spotify, Amazon Music HD, Tidal, Deezer, TuneIn Radio, and Pandora.
A/B Speaker Output
With two pair of speaker terminals, the TX-8470 can switch between two pair of speakers in the same room, or audio can simultaneously be played in two different locations. When outputting to only one set of speakers (A or B), they can run between 4 to 16 or 6 to 16 Ohms. With both in use (A + B), each pair will run between 8 and 16 Ohms.
Works with Sonos
If your home is part of the Sonos home audio ecosystem, you can integrate the TX-8470 into your speaker system and control it with the Sonos app.
Zone 2
Send music in two different rooms or send a unique source to a second room using TX-8470’s Zone 2 pre/line output.
