Supply clean power to your favorite surround sound speakers with virtually immeasurable noise and distortion using the NAD Masters M28 7-Channel Power Amplifier. Featuring Purifi Audio’s Eigentakt amplification technology, the M28 delivers a conservatively rated 200 watts of continuous power per channel at 8 ohms, all channels driven. This is an amazingly powerful and transparent amplifier bringing refinement and dynamics at any level.

What is Eigentakt?
Combining already renowned self-oscillating Class-D amplifier technology with novel feedback algorithms, Eigentakt nearly eliminates harmonic and intermodulation distortion and allows for an even, wide, and load-invariant frequency response with negligible output impedance.

NAD’s renowned designers worked closely with Purifi Audio to customize the Eigentakt implementation to ensure every product featuring the technology would meet the high standards NAD is known for. For this reason, NAD manufactures its own Eigentakt modules rather than buy off-the-shelf.

Flexible and Powerful
The M28 is equipped with seven discrete RCA and balanced XLR inputs, seven high-quality binding post speaker outputs, and a 12V trigger input for simple and straightforward integration into a surround sound separates system. Working well with many loudspeaker options, this amplifier is impervious to the load it is presented with. It maintains the same wide and even bandwidth response regardless of the speaker’s impedance and at the same time providing high current capability. The continuous 200W into 8 ohms on tap for all channels driven at the same time and 560W dynamic power into 4 ohms is testament to this.
