Enjoy musical stereo sound with your speakers and the Marantz M-CR612 HEOS Network Stereo Receiver. It delivers up to 60W of power per channel at 6 ohms and features built-in Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, and HEOS support, allowing it to wirelessly stream music from compatible sources such as smartphones and tablets. Onboard Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity allows the M-CR612 to access a variety of internet-based music sources through HEOS, including Spotify, Pandora, TIDAL, and more. You can also control the receiver with just your voice via your Amazon Alexa-, Apple Siri-, or Google Assistant-enabled device.
With a stereo RCA and two optical inputs, the M-CR612 can switch between various source device types. The receiver also has a built-in high res audio-compatible CD player, potentially saving the space of a separate component. AM/FM radio is also built-in for listening to local terrestrial radio stations. A USB port is also onboard for accessing audio stored on compatible USB flash drives.

Digital Amplifier Technology
With four channels of high-efficiency, low-distortion digital amplification, you can configure the M-CR612 to drive two pairs of speakers with independent volume control for each pair, or to drive a single pair of speakers with double the output power and the option to connect a pair of bi-amp-compatible speakers. The M-CR612 is also fully compatible with low-impedance speakers down to 4 ohms.
Dual-Diversity Antennas
With dual-diversity antennas, the M-CR612 is designed to ensure stable audio streaming even in wirelessly congested environments. Dual-band Wi-Fi allows for compatibility with a variety of wireless devices, and the receiver offers quick and easy push-button secure Wi-Fi setup and simple iOS Wi-Fi sharing.
HEOS Multiroom Streaming
Stream popular music services like Spotify, Pandora, TIDAL, your locally stored library, and more via Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, or the HEOS app. With HEOS, you can enjoy your favorite music in any room of your home equipped with a compatible device for a wireless, whole-home audio experience. Play the same song in every room or select a different song for each connected room.
Apple AirPlay 2 & Siri Voice Control
Stream audio from your favorite music services via your compatible Apple device, including your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV. Hear the audio synced to your speakers via AirPlay 2. For multiroom audio, wirelessly stream content to multiple AirPlay 2-compatible devices simultaneously with enhanced audio buffering for smooth playback. Hi-Res Audio Support
The M-CR612 can decode hi-res audio from ALAC, FLAC, and WAV lossless files up to 24-bit / 192 kHz, as well as DSD 2.8 and 5.6 MHz tracks (the audiophile format of SACD) via the USB port or network sources.
Dual Optical Inputs with Auto Power On
Connect your digital TV or cable/satellite box and a Blu-ray or DVD player to either of the two optical inputs to enjoy digital audio playback of your favorite movies and TV shows. The receiver can automatically wake up when sensing an audio signal from your TV and can be programmed to work with your TV’s remote for volume, mute, and source selection.
Variable Output Terminal
The variable output provides a selectable fix for variable-level connection output to connect directly to powered speakers or a power amplifier for digital source player/pre-amplifier use. Control volume with the included remote or via compatible apps.
3-Line OLED Display
The front panel features a three-line OLED display that provides numerical and text display for easy operation and control from wide angles off-axis.

Compact unit, great audio even with so-so speakers. My only complaint is with the included manual which does not give detailed instructions on setting-up the built-in advanced features.
