Part TV and part gaming monitor, the Flex 42″ 4K HDR Smart OLED TV from LG can actually curve to wrap around you for increased immersion in your favorite games. Just press the curvature button on the remote and watch as the display bends up to 900R with 20 levels of curve to choose from. Once your curve is set, you can dial in the perfect viewing angle with built-in height and tilt adjustment. Whether you leave it flat for TV and movies or curved for games, the display’s self-lit OLED pixels deliver deep contrast and rich color at a brilliant 4K resolution. The display also keeps everything smooth and responsive with 120 Hz refresh and 0.1 ms latency. Add Dolby Atmos sound, customizable lighting, and more, and the OLED Flex gives you the best of both worlds.
Super Antireflection
Compared to standard LG OLED EVO models, the Flex has 25% fewer reflections from surrounding light, objects, and people, which results in fewer distractions as you play.
Adjustable Mount
The OLED Flex is mounted on a stand that offers up to 5.5″ of height adjustment, 10° of forward tilt, and 5° of backward tilt.
Customizable UX
You can open the Game Dashboard without needing to pause, where you can select to display your game at either 27, 32, or the full 42″ to better match the genre and style of the game.
Multiview
This feature lets you split the screen with your game on one side, and an online tutorial or livestream chat window on the other.
Game Optimizer
Adjust your game, display, and audio settings in one location with a built-in graphical menu. In games, you can view FPS, activate VRR, turn on low latency, reduce blue light, enable AMD FreeSync Premium, and much more. The display settings tab lets you adjust things like sharpness and contrast, and the audio settings give you control over Dolby Atmos, game genre, output type, and more.
Dual-Mode Connectivity
You can attach an optional mouse, keyboard, headset, and microphone direction to the OLED Flex and use them all with console or PC titles by switching between TV and PC mode with the push of a button.
Gaming Mic Built-In
If you want to use the integrated speakers instead of a headset and still give commands and chat with your team, you can use the OLED Flex’s built-in gaming microphone. It features echo cancellation to ensure that everyone online will hear you loud and clear.
Gaming Audio
The built-in 2.2-channel 40W front-firing speakers are ideal for both movies and gaming, and the OLED Flex supports Dolby Atmos technology to deliver a virtualized immersive listening experience with sounds that seem to come from all directions.
Fusion Lighting
Integrated multi-color LED lights on the back of the stand let you customize ambient lighting and create additional immersion. The color is customizable and LG offers five lighting modes to choose from. Two of which are Sound Sync and Video Sync. With Sound Sync, lighting effects are created that move with the sound of your game. Video Sync synchronizes the color of the backlight with the color of the game’s graphics.

This display is absolutely amazing for gaming and productivity. The curved screen really helps with a lot with comfort and overall enjoyment when using as a computer monitor. I do not like the included speakers, and I am using a separate speaker system. Price is high, but so is overall quality.

3 things I love about this TV: picture quality, sound and flex mechanism. It’s a real pleasure to watch movies on this LG. The sound amazed me! We use our other TVs with a soundbar, but here you can do without it. For games, the flex mechanism is a special pleasure. I think it’s amazing that it can be both a TV and a monitor. The TV works very quickly and is easy to connect to any desired device. I recommend this LG!

I am really pleased with the LG 42-Inch Class OLED Flex Smart TV with Bendable Screen’s creative design and amazing performance. I love the quality of this tv! The screen is so vibrant and advanced that the picture almost looks 3-D and the images pop out at you. The sound is so smooth, even, and enveloping. I love that the tv is full of entertainment, even if you don’t have cable. There are apps and channels programmed into the tv that span across television shows, movies, and music. It’s something for everyone. This LG is an amazing investment and everything about it surpasses expectations!
