Setup of the controller was easy and seamless. After downloading the app, the product was quickly found and able to connect to wifi for setup. Sound settings and changing input mode can easily be done with the remote or on the controller itself. Adjusting between Bluetooth, TV, HMDI inputs, etc is very easy. Adjust bass, treble, and other sound settings is also easy. Was able to immediately to connect to Bluetooth and play music. Look is slim and sleek, without taking up as much width as a traditional soundbar. Ability to fully dim display screen is nice when lights are off for movie/TV show viewing.

Like I’ve said before this entire setup will make you feel like you are at the MOVIE theaters! Love that it pairs with my android phone, but if you have apple, it works as well. I absolutely Love love!

This is a great product. The receiver works fine with no issues. Each button and dial works as it should. No complaints really other than the style. The style is kind of old and outdated. Could use some re-designing.

I don’t live in a theatre, but my neighbors think I do. With the convince of portability, the simplicity of Bluetooth and the amazing sound quality coming from today’s popular smaller speakers, I haven’t had want for much else. But, it’s been a long time since I’ve had a full system and I decided it was time. Time to go big. 7.1 big. I had no idea what I was in for. Sounds now come from not only front, behind and deep within, but also from above. I’ve had to hit pause to investigate if the noises were coming from inside or outside of my house. The JBL MA710 receiver paired with the 200 series speakers will drive nails out of your joists. Crystal clearly. Set up is very straight forward. The packaging is impeccable as always. Once connected you can dial in channels and frequencies, along with Dolby and Atmos options. The charcoal magnetic grille covers complement the handsome wood grain finish of all the speakers and sub. While the MA710 has a beautiful glass front I was a bit let down by the old school mono-color analog looking display. Nit picky, I know, but IT deserves better. Luckily you can time the display to go blank in seconds. I also appreciate the auto off on timed idle option. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the JBL app to work on my iPhone, so I cannot speak to its interface with the system. Bottom line, if you want truer than life home theater sound or incredible stage presence, this is where it’s at.

I have setup a number of AV receivers is my day, and this was one of the easiest and stress-free experiences I’ve had with a new receiver. The look of the receiver is very sleek and looks almost retro with its large volume controls and minimal buttons. There were plenty of inputs for the large array of devices I tend to connect to my receivers, from game consoles to a record player and everything in between. The receiver uses an app on your phone or tablet to calibrate the EQ, which was much easier to use than other systems I’ve encountered. Once I ran the EQ app, the sound was pretty good right from the get-go. I did have a couple of issues with some of the settings causing odd audio outputs that I had to figure out, but it has been smooth sailing since then. It has a great power output, and the sound has been excellent, especially for the price! All in all, this has been a great experience, and I look forward to turning this on every day!

Read the instruction Manuel! It’s worth the read as this is how you will control your settings among other things. That being said…The entire stage 2 series is amazing. It works in med to xx-large spaces. I wouldn’t buy it for an apartment under 1200sqft. Your neighbors wouldn’t like you very much. The sound is powerful and smooth. I did need some assistance with the installation because I didn’t want wires showing and I’m not comfortable going into walls. If you want the system to look as good as it sounds, you should have someone to help you. Be sure to read the instruction Manuel or you will miss out on features like speaker placement which makes an overall difference in the sound. I definitely understand why it’s a stage series as the sound is stage worthy. I have been buying JBL for years and this system continues to exemplify the success of the company by stepping up the quality of sound a regular person can have access to in their home. Just FYI, Snoop had his JBL speaker on the bus with the USA men’s basketball team during the Olympics and it made me proud to be a JBL supporter myself!

The JBL MA710 is a state-of-the-art home theater receiver that provides an array of sound quality no matter the listening. The 7-channel amplifier distributes premium audio that can be shared in other rooms if party mode is selected. The Dolby Atmos surround sound is something beyond description. The compatibility for 8K video itself is a fantastic feature. The 2 channel option for gaming is our favorite, when connected to larger speakers, the experience sounds surreal. The streaming capabilities made easy with casting allowed straight from one’s phone using the JBL Premium Audio app.
