Long-Range Control

The Fimi Mini 3 Drone has remarkable handling and the ease of operation is great in a drone that rivals DJI functionality and then some. This drone even handled great in 15mph sustained winds and controlling the drone was easy as 123. The camera is another story, The camera quality is over all pretty good, but not pro level great, which is ok. The colors just seem off and don’t pop like other higher end drones.
The Mini 3 was very quick to get up and flying with minimal settings or calibration. The remote controller was easy to connect my phone to, although I have to take my iPhone 16 Pro Max out of the case to properly fit on the controller. I wasn’t able to do a range test here in Maryland (USA) because of visual line of sight laws. I was able to fly the drone about 2,500 Feet away and no issues with signal occured.
I was able to get about 26 Minutes of flight time with a 10-15mph head wind the entire flight. This is pretty good considering the manufacture states 33 minutes max flight time.
Overall if your looking for a capable affordable alternative to $1,000+ drones from other big name companies this may be the choice for you. It is worth noting that I had purchased a Fimi Mini 3 and could not get the batteries to charge. I tried several different chargers and cables. It turns out that all of my chargers are PD style charges and the batteries would not activate or charge using these chargers (This is noted on the battery). After contacting Fimi another drone was actually sent and I went to a retail store and bought a cheap 5v power adapter and the batteries activated and charged with no issue.
I was very pleased with the responsiveness of Fimi and their willing to correct a problem, although the issue was of my own doing by not knowing that I was using an incompatible charging brick. In high sight in 2024 all batteries should be compatible with PD Chargers so maybe Fimi will fix this on future drone releases.

I recently bought the Fimi Mini 3, and it has exceeded all my expectations! As someone who travels often and wanted a lightweight, easy-to-carry drone, this has been perfect. It fits easily into my backpack, and at under 250g, I don’t have to worry about regulations or permits.
Video Quality: The 4K video at 60fps is seriously impressive. The footage is smooth, clear, and vibrant, even in windy conditions. The 3-axis gimbal keeps the video stable, and I’ve been able to capture some fantastic shots without worrying about shaky footage. I was surprised at how professional the video looks straight out of the drone—no need for post-editing!
Ease of Use: If you’re new to drones like me, you’ll appreciate how user-friendly this drone is. It was incredibly easy to set up and fly. The controls are very intuitive, and the one-touch auto-return feature has been a lifesaver. I didn’t have any trouble getting started, and the GPS stabilization helps keep it steady, even when it’s a bit breezy.
Features: Despite its budget-friendly price, this drone is packed with advanced features. The waypoint tracking and night mode work like a charm. It even has a Quickshot mode for creating cinematic short videos, which is a fun bonus! The flight time per battery is around 30 minutes, which is more than enough for a solid flying session.
Overall, this is one of the best drones I’ve come across, especially for beginners and frequent travellers. It’s easy to use, provides stunning video quality, and has all the features you need without the hefty price tag. Highly recommended!

Impressive Entry-Level Drone for Real Estate Photography
As a beginner, I waited nearly three weeks before unboxing this drone, focusing first on obtaining my license for real estate photography. Once I started using it, I was thoroughly impressed.
