Whether for providing ambient music down a walking path or filling in gaps in a larger space, the Dymension BL-550 Passive 5.25″ 2-Way All-Weather Outdoor Bollard Speaker from Definitive Technology is specifically designed for outdoor residential or commercial placement. The short and compact bollard design features upfiring drivers that consist of a 5.25″ mineral-filled woofer and 1″ aluminum oxide tweeter, along with a 5 x 8″ passive bass radiator for balanced output and enhanced low-end performance. Timbre matched wtih other Dymension speakers, the speaker integrates seamlessly into a larger setup.
Flexible Installation
Installation is done via the attached single jacketed pigtail cable that supports multitap direct-in connection to 70V/100V, 8-ohm power. Physical installation on lawns can be done with the included ground spikes, base plate that has holes to support optional deck, or concrete screws. Once installed, an integrated channel allows you to easily run the power cable.
