Enhance your student’s learning experience with the LessonCam from Boxlight, a PTZ video camera for the Juno classroom system that sports crystal-clear 12x optical zoom and resolutions up to full HD at 30 fps to capture the whole classroom in perfect detail. With eight PTZ camera presets and easy setup, this camera is a convenient tool for the Juno system.

The LessonCam provides ±170° pan and -30 to +90° tilt adjustment. The camera features a USB connection for video and supports common protocols like RTSP, RTMP, and VISCA for connecting to the school network infrastructure and scheduling lesson captures. When students are engaged in remote learning, the LessonCam truly shines, ensuring your students remain engaged and enjoy a pristine audio (through Juno) and video over all the most popular streaming platforms, including Zoom, Skype, Teams, Meet, and MimioConnect. The camera can be completely controlled by the teacher alone via the included MyFrontRow software. The LessonCam includes a special mounting bracket with cable harness for the Juno tower and a USB-B to USB-A cable.

With LessonCam, instruction is dynamic and engaging for online learners. Teachers are no longer tethered to their computer’s webcam. 

They can stand in front of a display or white board, pan to another part of the room, or zoom in for a closeup of a hands-on demonstration. The LessonCam Control Software has programmable preset buttons that allow the teacher to quickly guide the view of learners to their most common presentation areas while teaching with ease.

Teacher Has Full Control
Much like a document camera, LessonCam is an instructional classroom-only camera that is not directly connected to a network. The camera is designed to capture lessons for sharing or streaming to online learners and only the teacher in the classroom can control LessonCam. 

LessonCam has clear signals to indicate when it is powered up and in use. Instructors can teach confidently knowing that they are in full control of the camera.

Easy to Set Up, Easy to Adapt
The LessonCam simply connects to the teacher’s computer via USB cable. When the teacher speaks or plays back media, the sound is amplified for intelligibility inside the classroom, while clear audio, and now detailed video, are captured and shared to remote students. The camera is controlled via a simple-to-use app interface on the teacher’s computer.
Capture Lessons
With crystal-clear 12x optical zoom and the ability to instantly zoom to different locations in the room using the MyFrontRow app or the Action buttons on the FrontRow Mic (sold separately), teachers can easily record lessons on their Mac or PC and upload to their LMS. With support for common network streaming formats such as RTSP, schools can use platforms such as Safari Montage to schedule and capture lessons directly into a network media database.
Streaming PD and Safety
LessonCam streams video over the network, so it can be used for professional development across the district. If a teacher activates an alert using their FrontRow microphone, LessonCam can be activated by the FrontRow Conductor campus system (sold separately), enabling administrators to view inside the classroom and provide help where needed.
