I needed a short throw as I live in an apartment so space is an issue for me. This projector has the desired throw I needed to project big image from short distance. It also has an optical zoom for further adjustments if needed. Picture quality is great out of box, and more than enough bright for my small space. I project on wall and have no issues. I wonder if dedicated screen is going to make it even more better. I heard noise complaints from other users, but in my experience I hardly hear any noise when I playing content. All I hear is content l sound , speak are very good for a small room and you can always improve it by connecting to dedicated home theater or speaker via earc or Bluetooth. Very satisfied with short term ownership of this projector. I never had a projector before so I don’t know how it compares to other alternatives in same or different price range. So far watching shows and movies. But this projector has some awesome gaming features too. Will put it to use some day.
