I love my iPad Mini 7, a significant upgrade from my old iPad Mini 5. I sue if for everything – browsing the web, reading books and for flying with the Foreflight app.

I’ve been waiting for this gen #7 iPad to come out for about 14 months when my old iPad Mini died. It was worth the wait, although a bit frustrating. The ipad works great. Easy to setup and a lot faster than my last one. I’m waiting for the cover to come as it will make it easier to hold onto.

I needed a new iPad mini and am glad I waited for the newest release. The larger memory size is game changer. Product is the perfect size for traveling with lots of books, documents, and music, and being able to do basic photo editing on the road. Not sure about using the AI technology yet, though.

My new iPad Mini A17 Pro is a huge improvement over my previous version. It fixes all the complaints I had with the old Mini. I had my iPad Mini IV for many years, keeping it at beside for books and morning reads. But it was soooo slooow! And, the finger print reader was not reliable.
On the new model the finger print reader has been moved from the front panel to the close button on the upper right side of the device. This provides for a larger full screen image and the finger print reader is more reliable than the old version. I can also store more finger and thumb prints, making it easy to use the reader in any rotation.
The biggest improvement though is the speed of the device, it now instantly loads apps and web surfing is fast. Plus, I can use an iPencil with this device.
I purchased one for both my wife and me. Everybody is happy with the improvement.

This is my third iPad Mini. It. Is the perfect size; a bid screen without being too bulky. I upgraded from version 5 so could take advantage of Apple Intelligence. I had issues migrating Dara directly from the older iPad but succeeded when I used the iCloud backup.

This iPad is everything a tablet should be. Small, light, and powerful. I am moving from a 10.5in pro and I am reliving my happy memories of the iPad mini 2 I had years ago. This is an awesome companion to work with especially with the Apple Pencil pro and a matte screen protector. Great size for note taking, reading, and watching videos all while being able to hold with a single hand. I think that’s the biggest plus is the overall size. I can’t say enough about how much I am loving this one. Only main change I want to see is a screen upgrade to OLED, smaller bezels, and improved battery (It’s not bad but who wouldn’t want some extra time before having to throw it back on the charger again, right?)

Got a nice pre-Christmas discount on this IPad mini with free 2-day shipping which arrived just in time on Christmas Eve. Can’t go wrong; they’re tops. This was a gift for my wife. I already have a mini and she wanted one. It’s not as clunky as the standard size IPad and for simple browsing and game playing it’s perfect. 128MB memory is fine for what we need it for.

The Apple 8.3 iPad mini (7th Gen, 128GB, Wi-Fi Only, Space Gray) is a great little tablet, but it’s not without its quirks. The compact size is a huge win—it’s so easy to toss in a bag or hold for long periods, whether I’m reading, browsing, or watching videos. The display is sharp and vibrant, and the A15 Bionic chip handles everything I throw at it without breaking a sweat. Plus, the 128GB storage is more than enough for apps, photos, and media, and the Space Gray finish looks sleek and modern.
That said, it’s not perfect. The battery life is decent but not outstanding—it gets me through the day, but I was hoping for a bit more, especially when using more demanding apps or multitasking. The lack of a headphone jack is still a minor annoyance, though I’ve mostly adjusted to using wireless options. And while the smaller size is great for portability, it can feel a bit cramped for things like typing or more detailed work, even with the on-screen keyboard.
Overall, the iPad mini is a solid choice if you’re after something portable and powerful. It’s great for casual use, but it’s not without its limitations. I’d give it a 4/5—it’s really good, but it’s not quite perfect.

What an awesome device. It is perfect for what I do, read articles, magazines, newspaper, textbooks and watch movies and TV shows. It is small and light enough that I can carry it with me wherever I go and big enough to read and watch.

I have an iPad and Laptop, but since I’m a writer, I love to be able to just pull out my little iPad mini and do a little writing when I feel inspired. Smaller than a regular iPad, bigger than my iPhone. Fast, dependable when I use the cellular from my iPhone.

I dithered over buying this for a couple of months because I already have an iPad Air (the admittedly three-year-old), as well as a MacBook Air. It seemed like overkill.
I was wrong. The iPad mini is nimble and highly responsive, has beautiful resolution (frankly my pictures look better than they do on the bigger iPad) and I really appreciate the ability to just throw it in my purse or my tote when I’m traveling. It doesn’t weigh me down and the screen is big enough so I don’t miss the larger iPad Air or even the MacBook even when I’m playing games… To be honest, I don’t use it for work or for drafting, but for web surfing, emails, even editing photos it’s great. Apple scores again.
