The Alesis Recital Pro is an 88-key digital piano designed to provide a realistic playing experience and education-friendly features for beginning keyboardists and experienced pianists in rehearsals, at home, or on stage. It delivers natural response via 88 hammer-action keys with adjustable touch sensitivity. There are 12 voices including acoustic and electric pianos, organs, strings, bass, and more, and each sound has a corresponding demo. Ten additional demo songs are available for reference and practice.
An adjustable metronome with an LED indicator allows you to play along with a stable tempo, ideal for improving consistency. Layer, Split, and Lesson modes enable customization of voice layers and keyboard zones. Record and play back a performance without the use of an external device. Listen through the built-in stereo speakers, or utilize the 1/4″ stereo headphone and line outputs to monitor through headphones, speakers, or a PA. Sweeten your sound via integrated effects such as reverb, chorus, modulation, and EQ. A USB Type-B port offers simple connectivity for controlling virtual instruments in your favorite DAW.
The Recital Pro ships with a power adapter and a removable music rest, and includes three months of Skoove online piano courses and two months of TakeLessons live video lessons.
The KSCL-2X Double-X Keyboard Stand with Clutch Lock from Auray is made of a durable welded-metal construction for strength and enhanced stability. It features a clutch lock with seven preset heights located near the top of the stand for effortless height adjustment. It can support up to 200 pounds and has removable endcaps, so you can install a second-tier accessory (available seprately). In addition, nonslip rubber rings on the crossbars ensure that your keyboard is secure on the stand.
The PBL-24 X-Style Large Piano Bench from Auray is a foldable X-style piano bench that is a lightweight, sturdy, and durable solution for keyboard players at home, in the studio, or on the go. It adjusts to four height positions between 18.8 and 23.8″ and supports weights of up to 300 pounds. With 2.6″ of high-density foam padding, the seat can provide comfort for many hours at the keyboard. The X-style construction allows the PBL-24 to fold flat for easy storage or travel, and the double spring-loaded lock system assures fast and effortless setup.
The FP-P1L from Auray is a piano-style sustain pedal with a high-quality, rugged build. The unit features switchable polarity, making it compatible with most electronic keyboards that have a 1/4″ foot-switch input jack. The chrome-finished foot pedal is balanced to provide just the right amount of resistance to simulate the feel and tension of an acoustic piano’s sustain pedal. Equipped with six nonslip rubber feet to keep it in place, the pedal also features a 72″ cable for comfortable positioning.

Hey Guys, I’m a beginner at all this keyboard stuff, but I think unless you go 88 keys from the start, you aren’t really doing yourself any favors. I do wish it had the lighted key feature like the Casio, some people say that just slows the learning process. Anyway, I’m getting on it and hope to be writing my own music soon. Be cool, and Good Luck.

Thank You, I finally found a keyboard with a quality, effective sound for a reasonable price!! This is my 5th keyboard and I’m very pleased. Now I have a keyboard to travel with that worth it’s weight. I love also the fully weighted keys when playing! My major is music and Exercise science

The Alesis Recital Pro 88-Key Digital Piano is a joy to play. Far better than the 49 key Yamaha PSR 11 (a fine first time piano) I’ve been playing.
I actually want to practice the piano more now!
Although I played the trombone from 5th to 12th grades I never played the piano. I’m not counting the one term of piano I had to take in high school. As a senior citizen (honored citizen) I was able to audit a piano course at the local community college. In NYS a senior citizen (60+ years old) can audit courses at any unit of SUNY or CUNY without being charged tuition or fees. A benefit of paying taxes for many years.
I have many more years of practicing and learning piano at the local community (501c3 Hochstein School) & university (Eastman School of Music) music programs; with a private piano teacher I have booked Kodak Hall, Carnegie Hall, & Disney Hall for my debut recital. I’m not goal oriented but piano playing is more fun now using the Alesis Recital Pro.

My daughter and I are both starting out our piano learning journey and I don’t think we could have found a better keyboard for the price. The keys have a wonderful weight and touch to them and the piano sound, with reverb added, is a delight. Can highly recommend.

I have been playing piano for around 16 years, and I am currently studying Piano Performance at my university. I wanted to get a keyboard to maximize my practice options in case I didn’t have access to an acoustic piano, and also something I could potentially use for jazz gigs in the future. I bought this keyboard package specifically for its hammer weighted keys, and the fact that it came with all the other equipment I needed (the stand, bench, and pedal).
Pros:
-This is a great value for how good the keyboard is! It includes all the pieces you need to practice right away, and I have played keyboards that feel the same on the keys that are much more expensive.
-While not perfect, the hammer action is decently accurate to an acoustic piano, and is perfectly acceptable for practice purposes.
-The music stand is quite sturdy and can hold up my heavy books or even a tablet quite well.
-There are just enough features to it to be useful to the classical pianist without it being overwhelming.
-The audio is panned across both speakers, and will also be panned if practicing with headphones. This is a nice detail, and provides more realistic aural feedback.
-The bench is a good mix of supportive and comfortable.
-This works great with music notation software! (I tested this specifically with Finale.)
Cons:
-As expected, the hammer action is a bit slower and stiffer than an acoustic. However, it still feels decently accurate to an acoustic piano, and is definitely good enough for practice.
-There is no easy handhold on the keyboard itself, so it’s a little hard to grab and move by yourself.
-The keyboard stand it comes with requires some assembly, and is a little bit wobbly. I ended up substituting in a different keyboard stand that I had, and it worked much better.
-There are not that many sound samples, so if you are buying this keyboard for its expansive sound capabilities then this is not the keyboard for that.
-Because the audio is panned across the two speakers/headphones, sometimes if you play mid-range octaves they will sound slightly out of tune. This isn’t too bad, but it takes some getting used to.
Overall, I am incredibly happy with this purchase! I recommend this package for anyone who wants a good quality (yet not too expensive) keyboard for practicing purposes.

I have been waiting a few years to invest in a keyboard piano with weighted keys. I’ve had a week to play around with the Alesis and I am ecstatic to continue to rekindle my love for piano. This set is perfect, comes with everything you need. The keys feel like a real piano! Its also a lot bigger than I had anticipated but that isn’t a bad thing 🙂

This was such a great deal. For the price, I am impressed with the feel of the keys and the simplicity of use. I appreciate that it isn’t overly digital because it keeps my daughter focused on the basics.

The Recital Pro is well rated (check it out online) for an absolute beginner and the stand/seat package were perfect complements: The stand is solid, easily adjustable and well-built, as is the music bench included in the package. Couldn’t ask for more as a beginning piano student of 74+ years! The only modification I had to make on the stand was the addition of some velcro on the top of the support bars to prevent the digital piano from sliding around while playing. I also plugged in some computer-Bose speakers that I had lying around to add a bit more volume to the built-in speakers.

We bought this set for my 12 year old for Christmas. It’s an excellent keyboard, is intuitive to use, and sounds great. The kit is a must so you have a stand and bench.
