With its fast F/1.4 maximum aperture it is suitable to working in low light situations and utilizing fast shutter speeds. It will also create a very shallow depth of field. With hybrid aspherical elements and multi-layer coating, you can produce sharply defined images with a minimum of flare and ghosting.
