It emits up to 750W of peak bass response at frequencies as low as a rumbling 19 Hz with clarity. This subwoofer can mix-and-match with your existing DRAGON subwoofers for intense, pure room-filling, room-rocking bass.
12″ Carbon Fiber-Reinforced Aluminum Driver
At the heart of the modular expansion is a 12″ woofer, with a lightweight and durable aerospace-grade aluminum cone. The material maximizes the cone’s sensitivity and responsiveness for accurate mid-bass and low-frequency effects. To achieve precision with low-end output, each cone has a wafer-thin layer of carbon fiber laminated to its back. This premium material has a high stiffness-to-weight ratio, designed to make it ideal at damping resonance.
12″ Carbon Passive Radiator
Assisting the 12″ woofer’s low-end output is a 12″ passive radiator with a carbon-infused cone to enhance its rigidity and achieve precise low frequency response. Its down-firing placement allows incredibly deep bass waves to ripple through the room, even at reference volume levels. (Note: Picture for reference only. This listing is for one subwoofer)

Adding the sub-woofer to the Dragon sound system completed the full immersion of the product. I am not sure what the new update did but with the update and new sub-woofer it’s almost like I got the Dragon V2. I am beyond happy with my purchase.

I bought the original system with the 8 inch subwoofers. The overall sound was good but lacking the Wow factor. After adding one 12 inch subwoofer there was a palpable and visceral difference in the slam and low bass rumble that was completely missing from the 8 inch subwoofers. Adding the 12 inch didn’t take too much time. Downloading the new software update took a lot longer (30 mins) than wirelessly adding the subwoofer to the system. Reconfiguring the whole system made the sound cohesive and the new system really rocks. Proper subwoofer placement is important to get a seamless bass experience. I shifted the 8inch subwoofers to the rear and left the single 12 inch in the front corner several inches away from the front and side walls. I don’t think a second 12-inch sub would work for me as my right-side flows into the dining area so the side wall is 30 ft away
